Yak cheese seller in Bhutan
We bought some Yak cheese ( I had heard much about it so had to try it ) from this sweet young lady who was managing a road side shop with her little one securely tied to her. These Yak cheese pieces turned out to be as hard as stone and it took me more than an hour of active salivation with rigorous activity of mouth muscles to extract the pleasure of this unique cheese. Cycling on Mandalay Line Mandalay line in Range Hills at Khadki is one of my favourite areas for cycling. It is quiet with little traffic. It passes via what used to be the Bomb Disposal Squad campus. Their unit shifted sometime ago. Last week when I was cycling on this stretch, noticed this bylane with brilliant colours of Bougainvillea and Gulmohar . The presence of a red car and a black dog who kind of posed for this picture, added the drama. (Pune, June 2022)
Fathoming the Sky and beyond Many years ago, I went to Delhi from Mumbai on the 6 am flight of East West Airlines. There were only 12 passengers in that Boeing 737 I suppose. That day I realised what an experience it is to see the rising sun through the clouds. The colours start changing gradually and each moment is lived differently. The best part is that none of the colours are loud. They are all subtle, deep and meaningful. Beckon you to explore. In perfect solitude.
