Kid on a cycle at Sao Jacinto island, Goa Sao Jacinto island in Goa is a small island with a prominent church  and beautiful surroundings. Life is easy and no one seems to be in a hurry.  Spent quite some time here walking around. ( Goa, 2014 )

Ruins of a church at Ross island, Andamans The main edifice of this church at Ross island , Andamans is fairly intact although everything else is gone. One look at it and you can make out that this must have been a beautiful church which served the British settlement on this island which is across the sea from Port Blair . With its stained glass and other paraphernalia, this structure would be very charming and inviting.  (Ross island, Andamans, 2008)

St. Thomas Cathedral, Mumbai It was during one of those not very defined walks in the area around Flora Fountain , that I discovered this almost 300 year old church. In fact, Churchgate station derives its name from this church. One of the gates in the fort which the East India Company had built to protect their settlement was the entrance to the St. Thomas Church. It was called Churchgate. That is the reason the entire area towards the west of the church is called “Churchgate” even today.
