Colourful bylane

Cycling on Mandalay Line Mandalay line in Range Hills at Khadki is one of my favourite areas for cycling. It is quiet with little traffic. It passes via what used to be the Bomb Disposal Squad campus. Their unit shifted sometime ago. Last week when I was cycling on this stretch, noticed this bylane with brilliant colours of Bougainvillea and Gulmohar . The presence of a red car and a black dog who kind of posed for this picture, added the drama. (Pune, June 2022)

At a house at Diveagar

At a house at Diveagar We started our Kokan Cycling tour from this house at Diveagar in Kokan. The afternoon at the courtyard of this house was very relaxing. We spent some time here chatting up before getting ready for our cycle tour over next four days. (2012)

Walks, trees and shadows

Morning walk at Pune university There are parts of the Pune university campus which have large old trees with significant canopy that create shadow zones so necessary for walkers. I realised today that while I seem to be deep in my thought process while walking as well as swimming, walking is far more enriching as the visual around you keeps changing every minute. There is hardly a monotony.  Swimming is certainly enjoyable but lacks this aspect of walking or cycling for that matter.
