Pictures from the morning walk today As the winter recedes, one can see several changes around. The leaves start changing their colours and ultimately they take a bow. There is this tree near our place which throws up spectacular transition of colours around this time each year. Happened to pick up some nice pictures today morning. (shot on Fujifilm X100V)

Street food at Amritsar Amritsar is a foodie's delight. Lots of street food options serving hot preparations. To be enjoyed in the chill of Amritsar winters. Not recommended for sanitized travellers though. (2010)

Home in Kumaon Hills While walking in the Kumaon hills, we visited several homes. Stocking up for the winter was an essential task for everyone. Their cattle is precious and they need to be fed during the winters when there is snow all around. This is primarily an agrarian economy in a region where many villages in the hills are not accessible by road.
